THE CORAL KEEPERS-PR.jpg

How can ordinary people appreciate the life-sustaining force of the oceans when most of us don’t dive beneath the surface? A nonprofit in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary has taken on this question by training youth to become scientific divers. The students in Dive-N2-Life have a passion for conservation born from assisting with research on everything from the ecological role of sharks to a devastating coral disease that has broken out in the Keys.

"Τεχνολογια & the Ancient Mechanism" is a documentary that introduces us to a mechanism found at a shipwreck off the coast of Antikythera in 1901, that had three different calendars, and was able to predict solar and lunar eclipses’. This type of complex technology wasn’t seen for more than 1000 years after, with technology like clocks which first appeared in Europe. The documentary begins to unfold and show the modern use of technology, and how highly we interact with technology.
